At early morning services The reverend doctor David Easerling preached from James,the 1st chapter beginning at verse one and continuing through the 22nd verse. His topic was, "It's time to do something". His focus was mainly on verse 22.; "But be ye doers of  the word, and not hears only, deceiving your own selves". The question that stuck with me was "what am I doing for the church". I came away with a question for me. What is my purpose, and what am I doing for the church. Am I simply going to sit and waiting to be entertained?  Am I a doer of the  word. I want to be a doer...and with God's help I will do just that. Thanks Reverend Easterling .
